No one really understands unless they have been through it. No one really cares anymore. It has been four years since I left my abusive ex, I should be over it by now, and stop moaning and going on. 
Just reading my own statement, I realize these would be his words not mine. He is still in my head, still saying these horrible things. I just want to scrape away every bit of him that is still there. I just want to be me again, I just don't remember who that is now :(
