My Sweet Frank... Yesterday, March 12th just about did me in. It was your birthday and for some reason this 'first' birthday since you left, hit me like a ton of bricks. I baked a cake and took it to Dawn's house and we sang Happy Birthday to you sweetheart. It was bittersweet watching Gavin and Gage sing and you not being there. We told the kids that you are still here and watching over us. Gage told me again that he was sorry that I lost my husband and his Poppa Frank. Can you imagine those words coming from a 7 year old!!
Denise went back to New York Yesterday, so now it's just me in the house until Darren arrives. Hopefully I will keep a clear head and try not to fall apart too often.

I get a cupcake and a candle and go to the park and do that on Vinnie\'s birthday. Only I\'m alone. My family doesn\'t get it. Yes, he\'s gone but he is still here in my heart and I believe he is watching over me. He was never one to celebrate his birthday but I do anyway. We have to have these things for our own peace of mind. Hugs to you Jan!
