My Sweet Frank...
Well Honey, I finally made it back home to Mississippi after almost 6 months in New York. I didn't think I would be there so long, but after I took your Ashes back home and had a memorial for you, of which, I hope you approved, I figured that hey, I might as well stay until after the holidays. One day more became one week more and one month more and so on... So, finally I just needed to geback home and settle things and get the house on the market. The both flights home were terrible because of the bad weather all over, but when I found the penny on the floor by my seat, I knew you wouldn't let anything happen.
So finally I get home about 1 in the morning, only to find that the water had been shut off and in turn the pool couldn't be serviced and it is a lovely shade of green! But guess what, I didn't fall apart because you weren't here to help, well maybe I did shed a tear or two, but I snapped out of it and took care of business. The realtor said there shouldn't be a problem about selling and that made me happy because you know how much I want to go home to New York.
So my love, so far, so good and I hope I am making you proud that I am doing what you always said I was capable of if something were to happen to you.....How does that saying go....."That which does not kill us, makes us stronger." Something like that, I think?
I will see you in my dreams....
Loving you forever and ever..
