Early Tuesday am....another day GF....I had a dream last night that I was in a casino watching someone play a machine I wanted to play....they finally got up and I sat down, put in some cash.....but then realized, wait....I'm about to gamble....I don't want to do that... then took my money out, relieved that I had caught myself in time....I woke up feeling  so good about it!  I don't ever remember dreaming about gambling before- and I'm really glad the dream had a happy ending  :-)     It was a good day today; I wasn't much troubled by temptation to gamble, work was busy but not too busy, and even though I started to wimp out and not go, I did go to the gym....  Tomorrow I have to go pay on some bills, and I'm grateful to have the money to get the most important stuff taken care of.  That is the reward for not gambling for 41 days.  I still don't know if I'll be able to work my way out of the deep financial hole I dug myself into, but I'm working on it day by day, and trying not to obsess and depress about it.  Hope everyone had a positive, empowering GF day.

I have had dreams like that too, one just recently and I did not know how I would deal with relating that to everyone here at DS - I was so ashamed in my dream. I also love the line on commenting on my journal about the hole where gambling once was and the thought of allowing something new to grow in that hole. 41 days - stay strong - hugs

The last gambling dream I had was a strange one, in the dream I was at a casino that I have self excluded myself from. I put a bill in the machine ( it was a $5 machine) and hit the button. It hit the jackpot, and kept hitting it, and hitting it, and hitting it. I had to walk away with hundreds of thousands of dollars in credits for fear of getting caught in the casino. When I woke up, I thought, there\'s a lesson here, don\'t go... it won\'t do you any good.
