well, i'm not really sure how i'm feeling today. i only found out about four weeks ago about my MS. and i have to wait another six months to see the neurologist. that's scary. i have no idea what kind i have and am a little worried that i'm just sitting here getting worse. which is kind of silly, but that's how i feel. for the last couple of weeks i've been so concerned with how my family is dealing with the news that i haven't really thought about myself. aside from crying for the first day and a half, i've had few moments where i let myself feel sad. i hate seeing my loved ones upset, so i've been cracking jokes about everything and basically ignoring it all. or reassuring everyone else that i'm fine. it's almost like everyone around me expects me to get over it in two weeks, and now i'm left to wonder how i feel about things. today i just want to feel like crap. and not have people question me more than once about it.

six months before you can see a neruo? Do you have to wait the same six months before you can start any treatment?
yes, i do. so, that\'s what i mean. right now it just feels like a waste of time. having a treatment or a plan would make me feel a little better, at least.
damn you health care system!!
WOW!! six months, Your health care system stinks. Hopefully you get on a treatment plan sooner. Try to make the best of each day and hang in there. Hope to hear from you soon. I\'ll be here. Take care, Hugs Sheryl
And I thought our (USA) health system was bad! Well, I suppose if you are employed with benefits and/or privately insurred, you are better off down here; otherwise, you are better off up there ....
