BEFORE YOU READ THIS JOURNAL ENTRY, PLEASE READ THE ONE BEFORE THIS SO YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT'SGOING ON.... THANKS!OK, I called the D.A.N. doctor- not good. They don't take insurance at all- and the initial cosultation is $549.00, and that' without testing or anything- just to sit and talk to the doctor. The woman on the phone said that they give you something to send to your insurance company, and it's up to the insurance company if they want to remburse you. *sigh* Looks like it's going to be 2 jobs for. Less time with my son, but I think this will help him and I can't just not do this because of the money. He's worth more than the cost of it all.

You are doing great! Hang in there.
I know you will do what you have to do to make sure he gets all the care he can. Have you talked about splitting the cost with his dad? It would give you a little more free time. Also contact the insurance company ahead of time and see if they cover a portion of it...... wishing you all the best in this new journey.
I talked to Rob about it, he\'s supposed to get back to me about it. He\'s calling his dad to see if he can maybe split it with him 50/50. Jonathan is on Ohio medicaid because he\'s on SSI, but they won\'t cover it due to it not being considered \'conventional\' treatment or whatever. I also spoke with my mom about it before she left for work this afternoon, and she\'s very willing to help me out on this one.
Rob is picking Jonathan up tonight for some \'boy time\'. Basically, they\'re going to play together and he wants Jonathan to spend the night. I am SOOOOOO looking forward to a night of sleep! He\'s leaving his laptop with me, since I told him I don\'t trust him to not look at porn and just play online games all night long, not spending time with Jonathan.
Hey keep up the good work. You have been through a lot lately and you are still thinking about what is bet for Jonathan. Wow what an amazing person
Oh the way our medical system is set up in this county! OH! Its seriously one of my biggest pet peeves! But it sounds as if you may be getting it worked out. You could also look into it being tax deductible. I know that some medical treatments you have to pay for out of pocket are... especially for dependent children. Still that doesn\'t help you pay for it, does it? Getting the money to pay for it is the hard part... getting reimbursed means nothing without the money up front.
I wish you all the luck in the world! *hugs*
