Sometimes, you are just going through life, not knowing that something big is about to happen. Then, out of nowhere, something pops up that changes everything. That one thing may seem like something horrible, and you react in a negative way. Then, after a while, you realize that what once seemed terrible actually turned out to be something positive, a true blessing. I often react without reason, and I blow up without thinking. My husband will tell you I'm unreasonable about every little thing, but that's his story. I often forget to look at things from all angles. It's only human nature to respond to a perceived threat in a defensive way. I have to work on this. I have to learn to be more calm and think before I act. They say you should always wait a day or two before you mail an angry letter. You need to calm down first, then read the letter you wrote on a different day. By doing this, you have a clear head, and you don't say anything you might regret. I am trying to be a better person, and to think first, then act. It isn't always easy. This is one of my personal struggles, and letting go of anger is not easy when you've had it inside of you for years.
