OK, I'm such a kid when it comes to this, but...3 more days until my birthday!!! YAY!!! LOL!!Sure, I'm not getting a cake, and I've never (with the exception of my first birthday) had a party thrown for me. Wow, OK, I just went from excited to majorly depressed in about 2 seconds. It's true though. No one has ever given me a birthday party, and I haven't had a birthday cake in about 15 years. My parents never really had time, I guess? We always did stuff for my brother's birthday, which was just a week ago on September 7th. But, every year, everyone ends up being too busy for me. My mom will call and say happy birthday, Rob will promise gifts and get my hopes up and then tell me I don't deserve anything, and my father won't bother to call because he only calls on his OWN birthday and on Father's Day. I am not sure that even knows when my birthday is? Probably doesn't...So, anyways, my brother told me that now I am officially pushing 30 LOL! But, I told him that no matter how old I get, I will never be as old as him!! HAHAHA!!! I can call him an old fart when I'm 90, and he can't say a word about it because I will be younger than him still!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It's beautiful here today! 70º and sunny, with a light breeze. A few pretty, fluffy, white clouds scattered about, but nothing other than that! I opened up the windows, and the house smells like fresh air! I'm loving this weather!

I can understand how you feel. I never had a birthday party. Used to get a cake and presents (don\'t any more LOL - couldn\'t eat it anyway). Trouble was my b/day was during the big summer hols here and as we were not at school I always missed out. I thought it was awfully unfair and then on top of that when I got a bit older my presents were combined with the Christmas ones, that really bugged me no end. And when I was in my mid teens I was just given money, which I enjoyed spending but I figured that there was no personal thought given to it and that really turned me off b/days.
