Answer- A squirrel ate my biggest sunflower! It was the saddest thing ever!! (well, the saddest thing to happen in my garden...)And, what's worse is that he left the pedals all over the back yard! It looked like it just exploded or something! I couldn't believe it!LOL I loved everyones ideas- everyone was pretty close! Love to ALL of you! I laughed everytime I read a new comment from you guys!

awwwww! those squirrels! little rascals! i am so sorry squirrel got your sunflower. one the squirrels around here, got one of the sunflowers 2 years ago. i always caught him eating the seeds! hehe those little rascals! :)

Panchita Hi Melinda, hope you dont mind me butting in. Where I live in Spain, you would love. We have fields and fields of sunflowers, and I love watching as they turn towards the sun. Its a miracle in itself to see, how a plant can change direction to face the sun at all times.
