How do you file for divorce? I mean, where do you go to start the paperwork? I can't afford a lawyer, so I figure I will let him take whatever he wants. It's not worth it. The only thing I want is my son and a happy life. Get this!! He called me a whore- then got pissed when I called his mother a whore. But, it's OK for him to call me that, and to tell our 4-year-old to call me a whore, right? He is PSYCOTIC!!!! But, I'm a whore because I am a stay-at-home mom. He says that I sit on my ass all day, collecting his paychecks!!!! OMG! I have to laugh about that. I can't help it. He is just so fucking stupid- only an idiot would say something so ignorant.Well, good ridence to him. Don't want him, don't need him.

sweetie i know it seems like it isnt gonna get better but it will.
Now just wait a minute. I know it seems like you just want it to be over - but when you are struggling for years and your child is suffering, and the stupid ex is living high in the hog, that is going to affect you. So get in there and fight - it won\'t last forever.
Get a book out of the library such as Divorce for Dummies or some such. That\'s a start.
PS take the high road and make sure the baby doesn\'t hear any abuse or bad language from you - no matter how justified.
Call a womans shelter !!!! They can provide a lawyer for you, A place to stay if necessary and support, counsling etc.... for you and your son. They will help you in everything necessary to get you on your feet. They can even help financially if you need it. You can not get the help and advice if you do not call. Call NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Start the process to freedom and happiness and safety for you and your son. Make some phone calls. JUST DO IT NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
make a call to your local social services office. many times they can help you find an attorney who will represent you at no cost or they may even provide you with an attorney at no cost. hopefully you will be able to find what you need and be able to do it safely. My prayers are with you. Terry

Call your local women\'s shelter, or see if your town has a local branch of S.A.F.E. They can help you get a lawyer, housing, and protection from him. But, please go and have a restraining order issues on him.
