I'm up early this morning, and I noticed that it isn't as bright outside as it has been all summer.  Fall is coming.  I love it!  The only season I don't like is winter, I'm not much for the cold weather.  Here, in Cleveland, we have long winters.  It's cold from November through April.  But, that's OK.  It makes me appreciate the warm weather when we do actually get it.Fall is one of my favorite seasons.  My birthday is coming up in September, and I love the smell of the cool air, the colors of the changing trees, the way that it sounds when a leaf crunches under my shoes, jumping into a BIG pile of leaves.  I love going this place called Mapleside Farms in the fall too.  It's beautiful all year round, but the fall is the best time to go.  They have an apple orchard and you can pick them and fill up a bastket with them.  They have fresh, hot apple cider, and you can pick pumpkins there.  I love everything about fall.  The best part for me is Thanksgiving.  Every year, we go to Jacksonville, Illinois, to see my husband's family.  We drive there, it's about 10 hours.  I love to visit with them.  Last year we didn't get to go because of Rob's work schedule.  This year, I won't be joining him, for reasons that I do not have to make obvious.  I am going to miss that.  My parents are getting everything ready for the move.  They don't know if they will get the house yet, but they should know by Thursday.  Keep them in your prayers, they really want that house that we looked at!  I have boxes from when we moved into our house, and I have to take them over there today.  I am going to help them pack because my dad just had ANOTHER surgery on his foot.  This is the 4th time in the past year, and he cannot walk right now.  So, I am going to do anything I can to make this easier on my mom.  I will do whatever it takes to get help them through this.  They don't deserve all of this misfortune.  They really are wonderful people.  They would never say or do anything to hurt anyone.  I've never even heard either one of them get angry at another person.  They always welcomed people into their home- including a kid I went to school with when his parents abandoned him.  They also always paid all of their bills on time.  They paid what they owed.  That's why it's so unfair.  They don't owe anyone any money.  But, someone made a mistake with my parents paperwork, and now they are losing their home.  It's just not right.  The whole thing makes me so angry, and so upset, and so sad.  I'm having trouble sleeping because I cannot believe this is all happening to them.  I love them so much, and I worry because of my dad's feet (what's left of them) and all that is going on.  *sigh* Well, I have to get in the shower and then head over to my parents house.  Jonathan wants to see Grandpa, and I am going to help my mom.  They have 20+ years of stuff in that house to pack up, and she cannot do it on her own.
