I have decided to quit smoking. I have been doing good so far. When I don't have one in the morning, I don't want one all day long! I figured I should start now, because since I'm leaving Rob, I want my whole life to be better, including my health. Besides, what if I am someday ready to start dating again? Who would want a girl who smells like smoke??? So, to make myself healthier, and to smell better, I have decided to quit. I just hope I don't gain back the weight I've lost! I also hope I don't fail at this. I don't want to smoke anymore.

Melinda, we believe in you hun, and we have faith in you and that you can fully quit smoking. You can do this! You can fully quit! i am going to cheer you on! every day! :)

been there done it 3 times. i have been clean since 10 pm CST 10//31/06. lol, with all of my stress i have seriously thought about starting back...

It\'s 8:15pm, and not a single one all day! I don\'t even want one because I didn\'t have one when I woke up. I feel great!
I\'m a little stressed because of my parents situation, but it\'s to be expected!
Well, if you slip and have one, just don\'t get the attitude that you have failed. You have just had a little setback. You are still way ahead of where you would have been if you hadn\'t tried. Just get back on track. I\'m proud of you for trying to quit! It\'s hard, but you can certainly do it... I did!
LOL! I was just on the phone with bleeditout, and out of habit, I grabbed one of Rob\'s cigarettes and lit it up! I put it out though. I was like \"OMG I\'M SMOKING!!\" And she quickly told me to put it out LOL!!!
All is well- I put it out right away.
