Women are beautiful no matter their size, weight, hair color, freckles, acne, clear skin, dark, light... does not matter! We are all gorgeous women!! We just have to remember to tell ourselves that! It's not easy- I always have days where I feel like I am just as ugly as the devil himself. But, I'm wrong. We are pretty in our ways, and all look different and are all special. I know this deep down inside of my heart, but sometimes, yes, I wish I could look like someone else. But then I wouldn't be me! I wouldn't have my scar from the birth of my son which reminds me to always be thankful for being alive. I wouldn't have my birthmark that my mother thinks is adorable (even though I don't like it!). I wouldn't have my hair that my mom loves to brush and play with, and she still does even though I'm all grown up! I wouldn't have the scars on my wrist to remind me that even though I was feeling so low and depressed, things always get better with time. I wouldn't have my goofy looking feet that my brother always picked on me for (it has now become a funny thing we laugh about together!). I wouldn't have eyes that my husband always said were beautiful, which never fail to show him what I'm thinking (I hate it that he can read my mind!!!!). I wouldn't have my Grandma Soukup's smile, which is all I have left of her since she passed away when I was 18. I wouldn't have 2 piercings in my left ear and only one in my right, from that time when I was in 8th grade and thought the peircing my mom took me to get years ealier wasn't enough (I tried to do 2 holes in each ear, but the left one hurt so bad I didn't do the right one!!). I wouldn't have the scars on my chin (6 to be exact) from years of failed attempts in gymnastics. I wouldn't have any of the things that make me who I am. I wouldn't have scars, birthmarks, or physical features that remind me of my past, and remind me of the ones I love the most. Would it be great to look like someone else? Sure, for a moment, but then I would miss myself!

Oh my dear melinda, Did You hear what you said ? Did you really hear it. You are beautifull. You are learning to loe yourself instead of the crap your husband tells you. Thank you for thinking of me when you wrote this but, It means even more to be because I want you to believe it yourself !!
I am trying too !
Melinda it\'s so true...my male friend has told me this several times and I\'m just now starting to believe him...he doesn\'t care whether I\'m big or small as long as I\'m me. Because my ex shot me down so far I was afraid I would NEVER get out again...but guess after 4 yrs of being divorced him I\'m finally getting out of my hole.
