My husband took the day off of work because we got so much snow this morning and all he wanted to do was snuggle under the covers with me when he woke up. So, we stayed in bed until about 10:30. Then we decided to go ice skating. We brought our son with us, and it was his very first time skating. Let me tell you, this kid is a natural! There were kids twice his age who had to hold onto the wall. But not Jonathan! He held daddy's hand for a few minutes, then decided that he could do it on his own. He fell just 3 times. But he picked himself up and kept on going! We were so proud because I began skating when I was only 2, and my husband played hockey from the age of 6, until he graduated from high school. So, we were sooooooo happy to see him take to the ice so easily!
We can't wait to take him this weekend. He wants to go back so bad! He keeps asking, "wanna go skating?"
