An old chief was teaching his grandson about life... "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. "One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego. "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. "This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?" The old chief simply replied, "The one you feed."

That is such a cool way to explain things. In my unrealistic mind, I believe that there are people that do not have two wolves, but only the bad wolf. The bad wolf killed the good wolf, and therefore they will never change. I am unsure what I believe in my realistic mind. But this analogy is very uplifting. I too need to be careful which wolf I feed. I think we all do. It\'s way too easy to feed the bad wolf without realizing it.

I love how this was explained and it really helps me to look at things differently thank you for sharing with us. I have to learn how to feed the good wolf and try to see the good. Right now i am so stuck on the other. I was asked a question from a friend a few days ago and it really made me think she said 20 years from now and you look back at your life now what would you think and do differently and it really touched me deep but there is that internal war that what i know is safe because I know what is going to happen as the other is unknown to me and that scares me
