I visited the YWCA women\'s center this week and talked with their Executive Director about this retreat. She is just thrilled, and wants to help with local publicity!
And the Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault will support the retreat too, and are making a donation of funds to sponsor registration for someone who would like to attend but might not be able to afford the $200 fee. Any nominations for a scholarship??
There is a chance that students from Oklahoma State University (OKC) may be able to volunteer to assist in this, and I have several volunteer offers from my church and colleagues.
This is the first of these retreats EVER, so it\'s a fantastic time to join history-making in progress.
