I don't know why, but while we were driving home from the doctor's, my pain started getting really bad. I am so glad my husband drove me because I don't think I would have been able to get home. I have been lying down ever since we got home. Course my doctor told me to watch what I eat because some foods could make my condition worse, meaning my pain could get worse. So let's just make a list of what hurts: walking, dancing, shopping, ok let's just say anything fun and now eating. I mean, I have been limited by what I WANT to eat in the past year because I sensed that some foods were making me sick, but when no doctor had actually said it, I just felt it was in my head. It just sounds crazy. FOOD, can make my pain worse. I have Insulin Resistant Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (along with Endometriosis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Migraines, Asthma, Interstitial Cystitus SP?, and I have had 2 strokes basically I am falling apart). My body doesn't handle sugar well, but it is not as bad as a diabetic's body. But instead of the sugar causing the problems of diabeties, it helps the growth of the cysts somehow. I don't understand it, but the doctor made it sound like more sugar, more pain. So carbs are bad and protein is good. I told him I basically eat a little of everything, but usually in VERY SMALL portions. And I try to keep foods that don't make me sick on hand, like yogurt and graham crackers. I feel so weird. And the one thing that has made me a little better is also making me sick in another way. He started me on Fortamet a couple months ago. I started on a small dose and was supposed to titrate up. As I slowly increased the dose, I found myself becoming more and more nauseous. Now I am stuck at the low dose and he is keeping me there for another six weeks. He said I may have to stay there if I can't hande more. So now I feel limited in the amount of getting better I can have. Doctors keep telling me my body is too sensitive and if there is a chance of a side effect, I have it. This is why I can't have VERY strong pain meds unless I am in the hospital. I stopped breathing once. It is scary to open your eyes to find 5 people standing around your bed and giving you CPR. The strokes were related to medicine. A couple months ago my heart stopped beating and I passed out because of medicine. I HATE MYSELF. Everythng is broken. Everything hurts. And then there is the emotional shit. I want to cry.

I\'m so sorry you have so many problems with your meds. Are you on disability? I just wondered because I am. About the food situation, have you thought about keeping a food journal so you can keep track of what makes you sick? Please don\'t be sad. There\'s always a solution out there to make you more comfortable it just needs to be found. You are strong, VERY strong, you can do this! I\'m here for you whenever you need me!
