My cat is still very sick. The vet said it was time to put her to sleep. She is a bag of bones. She hasn't had anything to eat or drink in weeks. She just lies on the bed and cries if you get too close. My husband says that it costs to much to put her out of her misery. I know what it is like to be in pain everyday. I don't want to do that to anyone, not even my cat. I love her and I feel really bad. What makes it worse is that we are going to my husband class reunion tomorrow and we are leaving her alone for the weekend. Alone with our other cat that is. He won't even come near her anymore. I think she smells like death to him. This topic just makes me cry.My pain manager came up with a new idea to try and help with pain for this weekend so I can try and enjoy some time with my husband. I have Vicoden which is one level narcotic, then Dilauded 2mg, which is like one step up and then Dilauded 4mg which is for break through pain. If I am still having pain after all the other drugs. I don't know what he wants me to do if I am still having pain after the 4mg. I guess go to the hospital.

your husband needs not be concerned about the cost to put an animal down they are like children and need the proper care there is no way kristen that a animal should be put through pain and suffering tell him to fork up the money and to quit being selfish,I am on disability and you can bet I\'d go without myself if my cat needed 1 to have medical care and 2 to be put down it is inhumane fo anyone to let a animal be in pain and suffering,how would he like it if he were to be denied medical care if he was in pain and suffering this man of yours needs to set and get his prioritys in order.Hugs hun,Kim
