I need a little advice. I am really not sure what to do for myself, if anything at all. Last Monday I had the nerve block by the new pain doctor. I have been in a lot of pain since this was done and I have been talking with his office assistant about what to do about this pain. She even moved my appointment up because he does not want me to wait while I am having so much pain. So today the pain has been bad as usual. A little while ago when I went to the bathroom, I noticed that the injection site was bleeding. SO now I am in all this pain and bleeding. I feel like I should call the doctor and see if I should be doing anything. Or like the paper they gave me said, go to the hospital if there is a problem after hours. I don't know what to do. But I am surprised by this bleeding and this pain.

I am sorry I did not see this yesterday. This sounds like a problem -- You may have accidentally opened the injection site (easy to do, probably) and that might cause problems. When is your appointment? Do you have a number you can call? Good luck
synchroswimr, I got the bleeding to stop last night, but it started again this morning. The pain is pretty bad too. My mom is a nurse and she says it is nothing to worry about just put a band aid on it. But she hates me, no really she does. My appointment is Tuesday, first thing in the morning. There is some one I can call, but I always feel nervous about calling some one, especially on a holiday weekend. I am so tired now, I just want to take the pain medicine and sleep until Tuesday. But I feel like I should call the doctor. I have a temp, also.
