Well I'm on day 17 with no cigs. 17 doesn't sound like much, but to go that long without a cig. when you've been a heavy smoker for almost 30 years it is huge I feel pretty good though, way better than I have ever felt trying to quit in the past. These Chantix pills are like a miracle. Haven't put on much weight either from quitting. Good Luck to all who are trying to shake the nicotine beast.

Maybe there is hope for me yet. Congratulations on making it so long without smoking. I am going to give it another go in a few days, but with a more realistic approach. I stress out just thinking about quitting. Keep up the good fight! BE WELL.

I\'ve taken chantix for 16 days now. Have not had a cig. for 9 days now. I smoked 2 packs a day for almos 30 years.
I feel pretty good, though I feel very strange, as I have been used to smoking for so long, it\'s weird not to smoke.
My hands feel lost though it\'s getting better with time.
I\'ve had a low grade headache most of the time, it goes away with an advil for a while, I firmly believe the headache is a withdrawal from the nicotine, and not caused by the chantix.
I have no nausea or vomiting though I\'ve always had a strong stomach. I do get indigestion and a little acid reflux, which has gotten worse since I quit smoking, caused by more snacks I\'m sure.
I do have a little leg discomfort, but not bad. I\'m not on my feet a lot like some people. It might be different for people on their feet alot.
I have been sleeping longer hours and having a lot of weird dreams. (Not like the vivid scary dreams like I had if I slept with a nicotine patch).
All in all I feel like it\'s a miracle. I\'ve been 9 days without a cig. no freaking out, no crying, no cheating, or giving up. No weezing when I go to sleep at night. I\'m sure my whole body is in some kind of shock, but it\'s a good shock. I have to say God Bless the inventor of chantix.
I\'ll keep you all updated on my progress.
