Stuff
Well, here I am & here I'm probably going to ramble a bit.
I believe I journalled abt various digestive issues I've been having. Well my gastro dr (talk abt being thorough) is doing a colonoscopy on Dec. 7th & then I'm also going to have 2 ultrasounds-one of the whole abdominal area & the other on the pelvic area. This is set for Wed Dec 12th. So I think it's safe to say he's covering the whole picture. So far I'm not really worried abt it. I stop & remind myself that this is where I'm meant to be, but, there are moments where your imaginations tries to run off to all sorts of strange places.
With my dad, well, what can I say. Life is just a day by day thing & thats that. It bothers me that we are all such a head in the sand type of family, yet, I don't see how for the life of me I could change them. We never were an openly communicative or demonstrative type of family. I know I can say that if I had children I sure would do whatever I could to not copy that pattern. Live & learn I suppose right. I have moments where I do wonder in the future if I'll be able to have the necessary wisdom & strength that might be needed. Time to stop & remind myself to lean on the Lord & let him supply me with what I need. My sister & I are going to dads appointment at the cancer clinic on Friday morning so I guess we'll see whats what then. I just so wish that he could come to better faith. I feel it could help so much but I can't preach and/or force the issue can I.
How abt this, I went 6 days with no lupus rash flare up or any other stuff but as of today I'm back to square 1. Does anyone ever have moments where you rethink & rehash & try & figure out what you did wrong or ate wrong or what else upset the delecate balance we have. But I'm still together & kicking & don't plan on giving up any time soon.
Our older can Pepper still seems to have bored and restless moments where he would have gone to search Callie out for a tussle or two. We can tell there's still a part of him that is connected with her. He tried to initiate a play session with Angel last night, well, that did not go over well with her royal highness. She was quite put out abt the whole issue & meantime you could almost see Pepper saying "come on, lets go, lets mess things up for a while, come on I dare you" etc. etc. Not bad I think for a guy thats 14 yrs old. He's a handfull but he's still our buddy boy.
Well I guess thats abt it for now. My love & appreciation is going out to all my dear friends here who are such an important part of my life.

I Hope, Too That You Have A Lovely Thanksgiving.
Love Ya, Barbara
Hello, my precious friend! Sending you loving healing thoughts as you go through those tests. Thinking of you! And I am thankful we are friends! Hugs,
P.T.
Hi Kitty, so good to hear from you, my friend! Yes, your doc is being very thorough, happy about that and I know you are too! I\'m sorry to hear you fell back into a flare .... nasty lupus disease! Wish I could wave a magic wand and rid all my family and friends of their worries, aches, pains, ya know? Hope your Dad does okay, everyone deals with stuff differently, eh? I\'m learning more and more, with my mom, to compartmentalize (leave it when I leave her). Works most of the time but still do get sad about how our parents are now, compared to the strong, vibrant people they once were. We\'ll be there too, one day...the circle of life, huh? Hugs and squeezes for Pepper, your buddy boy. Love him already. Going to see if you\'ve posted pics of him... bless his lil feline heart. Callie\'s spirit is hovering, just like I know Rusty and Spinner stop by from time to time.
We love you. YOU are an important part of our lives too!!! Smoochies xxoo
Your cats make me smile. Aren\'t cats just so entertaining? I hope you get some answers on this next round of testing. answers like \"oh, you are fine and everything is negative!!!\" about lupus, yes I do try to figure it out, but sometimes I think the reactions are delayed or due to stress and sometimes it can take months for stress to really punch us in the stomach, so to speak. I keep hoping and praying this passes quickly for you. Prayers and love, m
