????????????????

Well I saw my rheumy this a.m. & now that I stop & think I feel like it was a total waste of my time.  I'm not at all pleased with the direction things are going & there's real fear mixed in there right now also.
I of course got the typical remark to stuff I've been going thru, "it's the nature of the beast, it's not necessarily anything you've done wrong be it diet or lifestyle".
He's taking me off methotrexate and is putting me on Cellcept.  Other then hearing this name I know nothing abt it & even after reading the info fr the pharmasict & speaking with her all I can say is I'm officially going to go live in a bubble & say to heck with it all.  I mean gee when the printed info fr the pharmacist states that it can cause lymphoma well boy oh boy I'm so excited to start this - NOT!!!!!!
Does anyone ever get fed up with dr's always working in conjunction with drug companies and forever handing out bandages for symptoms.  Heaven forbid a dr maybe helped you narrow down the whys behind it all & fix it that way.  I know I'm weird I'll admit.
You know I'm stopping & reading this & I think I'm not even going to try & go on further because I'm not happy with myself thru these printed words so I think it's better that I stop for now.
To all my dearest dearest friends here who dared to stop & read this I don't think I can find words to ever describe what you mean to me.

I have always felt this way, when being prescribed medications. I saw a cartoon the other day that seemed appropriate.....\"I\'m not taking the medication because my original illness is easier to handle than the side effects\". We all get frustrated, especially if we aren\'t feeling good. I hope things improve and that you can get back in a good headspace. Give the cellcept a try.....it might help.

Take care

ahhh Pat I am so sorry. My hubby has told me quite often Dr.s only treat people, very few of them cure people. I think this is o true. They give us all kinds of pills to take instead of truly finding out the treatment that can cure us.Any ways I hope your new medicine will help. Love to the moon and back.

Dared to stop by? OF course we stop by because you\'re so important to us!!!! Why are there good docs and bad docs? That\'s just WRONG! How do the bad docs get their license? My mom\'s doc is likely good with getting her better but as ZERO people skills and compassion. My DH, an RN, says the good docs are the ones who don\'t chitchat but are more concerned about care, ya figure? Hope you\'re be okay and I totally understand the frustrations. We\'re here, vent away anytime. XXOO!

I know exactly how you feel! They keep adding pill after pill, and now I\'m on 2 additional pills to counteract the side effects of the pills! When I asked about natural medicine or helping to control my symptoms with dietary changes, I just got a blank look. You are definitely NOT weird!

I am so sorry. : ( I think we have all been there and I know just what you are feeling. You want to throw something at the wall, or go hibernate or drive away until you are free from it right? I will ask my nurse friend about cellcept. She\'s been on them all and has a good answer about all drugs for lupus/fm.

You are not weird. You are just struggling to find an answer. I will keep you in my prayers. God will guide you in this, just keep asking him what is right and maybe for a little peace. : ) love you and want the best for you! m

I feel like that about my doctors sometimes. And I feel I have good ones compared to the horror stories I hear.
I haven\'t been going very often because I feel it is a waste of time and $$$. Last \'episode\' I spent $240. in copays just to be told basically that it was the Lupus. Errr....
