This And That

Well, hubby had his appt at the cancer clinic.  It's funny, cause I had envisioned the appt, the way I wanted it to go, the joy at the best news possible, but alas not the worst news of course but it didn't play out as I had envisioned.  His PSA is up to 35 which is higher then when he had his brachy therapy treatment.  There is no explanation why as back in Nov the Biopsys were clear, the CT & Bone Scans were clear.  They are proceeding with more or I shd say another treatment, that being Hormone Therapy.  It's very widely used & there is a lot of success with it.  So we proceed from here.  I fully know it's where the Lord needs us to be right now & I think I'm OK with this all, I think, but then again ????  I'm not doubting the Lord at all I think I'm more doubting myself right now.
The lupus vasculitis goes on, it's appearing to be one of those never ending stories but whats strange is I'm feeling quite good in most other ways.  Not much dry mouth issues or ulcers, hardly any physical pain issues except on days where I've been go go go then by early evening I'll pay for it.  Last night was one of those days.  I did my morning at the cat shelter & then we had a few issues at home that needed tending to & by last evening my physical body actually had what I jokingly call a nervous breakdown, really strange I tell ya.
But good old stubborn me I was at my zumba dance class this afternoon & will be at yoga in the morning.  Alot might not understand this but it's during these two periods where I feel the most harmony between the physical me & the rest of me.
Our plumbing issues, well I tell ya, this has been quite interesting to say the least.  Our main water line into the house fr the city broke so of course there was major replacement & some sewer work also.  It's still not quite completed as we have to have the city inspector OK the work before the basement floor can be filled in & refinished.  My computer room is in the basement in the opposite end fr the work area & there's substantial piles of clay, rocks, etc. etc.  My darling hubby covered it with drop sheets so I can get to my computer room.  But on a good note we were only without water for one day & I do so value that gift fr the Lord.  In addition, they gave us the best deals they could, did some of the work at cost & taking into consideration my husbands age, total came to $7,426, which is abt $3,000 cheaper then what it easily could have been.  So again, the Lord gifted us in this way & I do so wish I could thank him in some way, mind you we're going to do a food delivery to our city's biggest mission again, probably take abt 3 or 4 dozen loaves of bread & a couple extra large cuts of luncheon meats so I hope that will please him.
I guess thats abt it for now except my dear friends who take time to check this out, I so value & love your thoughts.  You're all so very special to me.

hello and thanks for you kind comments on my journal. I feel the same way about you my dear. very special indeed! I\'m sorry you didn\'t get the news you wanted from the doctor. That is frustrating but you sound like you are coping and moving forward in a good foundation. I will pray for you both!
You are right, I don\'t get that connection between exercise and feeling bad and feeling good/harmony. I get it from the perspective of when I was younger andhealthier, but when I\'m feeling bad, I don\'t get it. Oh, how I wish I did, so I am very glad for you about this! Keep up the good work!!!

Maybe your lupus has refocused itself from some areas to another, being the vasculitis. Lupus is weird that way! I am hoping it moves away quickly. Praying too.

Oh, P, it is good of you to give praises for a $7000 bill, so maybe you are a bigger woman than I, lol. I\'d have a hard time doing that. : D
But I hope everything gets finished soon. It\'s hard having your house torn up!

hugs and showers of peace and love to you today.xoxo

Boy, I am so late getting here.... PM me when you journal, k???? Good luck with DH\'s hormone therapy, sounds very positive. You\'re a positive light for him too so keep that going.

I love how you\'re not letting pain get in your way of go, go, go, zumba and yoga!!! Yup, that\'s my girl. You GO!!!! Your spirit feels great when you accomplish these tasks, right? Sorry the pain comes later though, that\'s just wrong.

I\'ve been thinking of visiting our shelter BUT Molly may still be there, as we put her up for adoption 3 weeks ago today. Still breaks my heart but know it\'s what best for her, and for us.

Hope you enjoy your Friday and weekend, glad to catch up with you. You are so special to us too, you know. xo

You are an inspiration to me. I feel more positive each time my life crosses with yours, even if it is only in computer land.
