You know this is one time I wish that more read my journal entries cause I'd really like to get a variety of feedback here but I guess we'll see. I'm wondering if anyone goes thru periods and/or spells where, it's hard to describe, but you don't feel ill in the traditional sense but you just can't seem to function. I'm not experiencing any major pain issues nor say stomach, etc., etc., but I'm just not with it somehow.  It's like I walk thru the house with feet & legs that feel like they're made of lead & I've got no ambition to get out there & go & do.  I hate to say I could stay curled up in my room with TV & a book & just not participate in life.  When I started to really focus on it today it only made it worse cause then I got down in the dumps abt it.  I went to my exercise/dance class today (pushing & dragging myself) & I was barely able to participate & I'm usually one of the best in the class, man was I mad at myself I tell ya.   But I went cause I know it's good for the body. I'm sure my back & hip problems are not helping right now but at least massage therapy tomorrow afternoon. Anywho just wondering if it's part of life with lupus, I guess I'm a bit confused today. Thanks everyone, I really do love you all dearly.

Have you thought about posting this on the lupus board? I know some of them can get snarky from time to time but overall I think most of those ladies are pretty kind. For me, I do have periods where I am just lethargic, but otherwise OK and also, I have periods where I feel that mild malaise, which is similar but different LOL. I have to wonder, though, if instead of being from lupus, if it\'s just something you could remedy with specific supplements. I know you have some food sensitivities and so, on, so there are some foods you have to avoid and maybe there\'s just a nutrient or vitamin that you need more of ( like perhaps vitamin D, which we lupies have a hard time getting and absorbing naturally). I know spirulina has greatly helped me with energy and attitude and motivation. But overall, yes, I have the same issues you describe off and on. And I hope I don\'t sound like a know-it-all because I am definitely not one who knows it all. The older I get the more I feel as though I know nothing at all!

I hope this spell passes soon for you my dear! xoxo, michelle
