I'm so tired today I feel like I can't even think straight. Had my monthly appt with my reflexologist which is always totally fantastic. But here's the really good news of the day. I saw my diabetes dr this afternoon (my regular 3 month checkup). He gave me the once over literally from top to toes. He pushed, poked, listened, prodded, etc. etc. for a long while. At one point he asked how long I've been diabetic. I told him since I was 17 & I'm now 51. He was taken aback for a moment & then he pretty much said it was absolutely amazing that someone that's had diabetes as long as I've had has all my reflexes, nerves & circulation in such fantastic shape. So I have to admit that sure made me feel pretty good. Cholesterol level was really good. Vitamin D level was 73, 75 is what they like to see but I've come up alot so he was happy. Now if I can just get my lupus to behave that well I'll really be proud of myself. I have to, before bed, take an extra moment to thank the Lord for his assistance with this part of my life. I doubt if I could ever achieve this without him.
