Well I see my rheumy on Friday afternoon & I was really excited abt possibly being taken off my Prednisone at least & discussing some other possibilities. Well, heres the but. My hubby took very ill Monday night & a few of you know how crazy paranoid I've been abt coming down with it. We've got a ph service here called Health Links where you can access information and/or talk to a nurse. I called today and had a nurse tell me that the contagious period ends when vomiting ends & that the incubation period is 2 to 5 days. So if I can make it through till Sat night then I'm safe. The but - it sure isn't gonna help my withdrawing fr meds I'm thinking & I really had hopes for it this time. The 21st is getting closer & hence when we'll know whats what with my hubby. Does it make sense - I want it to get here but yet I don't. Oh well, we'll keep fighting. God bless everyone & keep you safe.

I\'m sorry your hubby is so ill. I\'ve been on prednisone for 10 years now. It seems an unending battle. Keep your chin up.

It never rains but pours. I pray that you make it till Saturday. You definatly don\'t need to be sick. Our immune systems won\'t take it. Our nerves won\'t take it. Oh heck we don\'t need anymore stress in our lives.
The waiting game till the 21st is going to be the hardest. I\'ll pray for hubby and hope it is heard.
Prednisone....I\'m finally down to 4 mgs a day. My body won\'t let me go any lower or I start to flare.
I wish all the luck in pursuing that goal.
My thoughts are with you and hubby. Hugs Nancy
