Well we got back fr our 2 day trip abt 10ish last night.  It was a super wonderful 2 days (even though I thout abt & worried abt my cats).   We did a lot of laughing, well, actually a lot of all good things. We went to this reptile garden & my sister had her picture taken with a phython snake wrapped around her.  This guy was abt 10 ft long.  Saw tons of really interesting, lets say, creatures there.  I even stood & looked at tarantula's, me, the queen of spider phobia.  Mind you they were behind glass but usually I can't even be in the same room type of thing. We went to this house/museum dated in 1882.  Wow was that COOL.  Walking through all the rooms, etc. Found this restaurant which has a Celiac menu.  Get this, I had a rueben sandwhich, my 1st in abt 4 yrs.  And I had pizza LIKE WOW ORDERING PIZZA IN A RESTAURANT.  And, ceasar salad.  And, chocolate chip cookies.  Anywho you're all gonna think I'm nutso so I won't ramble on but suffice to say when you live Gluten Free these things are pretty exciting. BUT, I'm pooped today I tell ya.  My Lupus behaved quite well, but my sister made sure we paced ourselves good & always ate when I needed a meal. Gonna go for a facial this afternoon & take a few days to rest & get caught up on life.

OMGoodness, tarantulas, you crazy lady. I have a real phobia too. but Dr. Phil says that desensitizing yourself the way you did it really helps and I agree. I used to have the pet shop owners put them all in another room before I\'d go into their shop for something with my kid LOL. but as I think about this topic, I can\'t let my feet rest on the floor -- too creepy. haha
I don\'t know how your sister let that snake wrap her. I\'d be gasping for breath with fear.

So, the celiac menu... was it OK with your diabetes? I get confused about things that are gluten free but still high in carbs... how does that work for you?

anyway, I hope you have a lovely facial. what a lovely thought. xoxo
