Well I've been holding my own quite well most of the time lately.  I seem though to go thru several nights where I don't sleep too well but it seems to me that can be quite common with Lupus so like I've been told I don't hesitate to nape during the day. The no dairy thing with my diet is going OK but I oh so much miss real cheese and all the dairy goodies.   I'm hoping when I see the Maturopath beginning of July that I'll be able to maybe eat a dairy thing once or twice a wk.  It has made a huge difference though. My rheumy reduced my Prednisone to 1/2 a pill every 2nd day.  If I stay OK then in November thats it, goodbye, see ya around Prednisone.  I've been on it abt 2 1/4 yrs. Been taking Tai Chi classes, boy is my co-ordination or lack thereof getting a going over.  It's not as easy as what one might think but it's been good. So many sad cases at the animal shelter right now.  More mature cats always take so much longer to find someone to love them.  I was brushing a fav of mine today, Cosmo, and when I was done he stood on his hind legs & put his front paws around my neck.  Talk abt feeling choked up.  You shd of seen the dissappointed look on his face when I said thats all sweety I have to go now.   Remember everyone, I love you all & keep room for you in my thoughts/prayers.

no dairy is hard! I ended up doing small amounts of organic dairy once in a while. what a cheater I\'ve been lately. you hang in there my friend. that is sad about Cosmo. and sweet. I\'m glad you are getting your naps. someone on that Rest Ministries and HopeKeepers Sunroom site that talked a lot about how to sleep well while being chronically ill. let me know if you want me to send you the link. xoxo

Hi Kitty, oh my heart breaks for you, it must have been so hard to leave Cosmo behind, I bet he looks for you everyday. Thank God for loving people like you who are there to look after these animals. It is wonderful that you will be able to come off the prednisone. I have always wanted to try Tai Chi, I used to do Yoga but it\'s been awhile, I do the odd pose now and then. My daughter met some people where she works that were telling her about a product called Monavie, she went to a meeting tonight and came home all excited about this product, supposedly it helps many ailments and is great to help you sleep. Anyways it\'s made of 19 fruits, so I figure it can\'t hurt to at least try it so let\'s hope it doesn\'t give me a migraine as a lot of natural remedies tend to do that. I can imagine it will be hard over the summer to stay away from the dairy, I hope the naturopath let\'s you cheat a bit! Take Care , Hugs Sue
