Well I had my coloscopy. Man am I glad that's over with. They gave me a sedative but somehow it either wasn't enough or something cause it really didn't work. At one point I was having so much pain/discomfort I started to get nausiated. But the good news is the dr told me he found no trace of any serious illness/condition but he did take 4 biopsies which I'll find the results of in abt 8 wks. I kept the Lord close in my mind and silently prayed while they were prepping things but I'm a bit disappointed in myself for during the process during the pain I feel I let myself get carried away, rapid breathing etc. I can't believe I didn't keep better control, pray, deep breath, etc. Oh well at least I know the Lord knows I'm only human and can have my weak moments.

oh dear, that\'s not what I expected to hear, that you had a rough time with it. = ( most folks are in twilight sleep the whole time. it sounds like you did a find job, you are only human and what they were doing to you was not an everyday run of the mill thing, so I wouldn\'t be so hard on yourself. I hope the biopsies are OK.
I remember once I had a cavity filled and the dentist wouldn\'t listen to me when I said the novacane didn\'t take and it was a sensitive tooth.
he was drilling and it hurt so much that I could not breath and he wouldn\'t let me have a rest. it was like the pain and panic of being unable to move b/c of the drill shut off my air. when he finally stopped, I sat up straight gasping for air and they acted like nothing had happened. some people just shouldn\'t be medical professionals I guess. turns out he was in a rush to go hunting and didnt\' want to redo my novacane. oh well. hope you\'re feeling OK tonight.
I think I know what you are talking about and I am so sorry you had to go through that. I pray that things go well for you and results are good as well. at least it is done now and you dont have to do that again soon..
