Saw the specialist this a.m. re the intestinal/bowel issues I've been having. As I suspected he wants to do a Colonoscopy, but I have to wait until the beginning of May. Oh Boy. He strongly feels it could be a Prednisone withdrawl thing but he wants to check & rule out (note I SAY RULE OUT) stuff like Colitis, IBS, etc.I'm really hoping the Naturopath Dr I'm seeing in Mar might have some ideas for aids in that area also, one can hope. I'm openminded for just abt anything.So in the mean time I stay positive and have faith & pray yet it's funny cause those sneaky negative thoughts always try & break through. Keep on fighting.

Dear Kitty , so you get to have a colonoscopy , lucky you ! You sure have a long wait , that\'s too bad . I hope the naturopath can help you first . I saw my doc today about my IBS and he gave me a new med , I would tell you what it is but I haven\'t filled the prescription yet and I can\'t read my doctors writing . I see why you\'re perplexed by it all. rule out that stuff? I would rather hope it was that stuff, sort of, as it *can* sometimes be an easy \"fix.\" for example, I have lots of family with IBS and most of them can control it with foods & exercise.

Hi there, Well it sounds like you made it thriugh in one piece. Now you have to wait 2 more months before anymore news. That can be good. Just try to keep positive thoughts and don\'t give the bad thoughts any time at all. seems to work for me. I go back to my Rhuemy tomorrow to find out about my tests and also I think he is going to do an echo test on my heart in his office so it should be an interesting visit.
