I don't know whether it's post christmas blues.....hormones or the warfarin but I'm struggling to lift my mood at the moment. Physically I think I'm reasonably well - currently taking 5.5 warfarin daily but also eltroxin for hypothyroidism - my INR is 2.3 but due to a set back in Novemeber my therapeutic level is between 2.5 - 3.5. I think possibly at that time (4 months post dvt/pe) I had associated pain from small pe's but Drs thought maybe had clotted again (no tests) but raised the INR and began to investigate possible malignancy of ovaries.... I had what I'd been told were cysts they now think hydrosalpinx (fallopian tube fluid - after MRI scan). I am due to see haematologist tomorrow and have repeat scan 9th January. I hope things have improved on that front as gynaecologist was very opposed to surgery and frightened me with his talk of what a high risk patient I was.... I will be on warfarin lifelong. I'm sorry I think I'm feeling sorry for myself - it helps to talk to others with similar experiences. I so want to recover my optimism for the future

Don\'t you hate mis diagnoses? Sorry to hear that...
Yes the wafarin does play with your emotions, plus the fact that you are stressed out from not knowing what is going on, or all the lifestyle changes we all go through, it\'s enough to make a sane person actually lose it.
Best thing to do is to get your questions answered (many knowledgeable people here) become part of a community that can say, yes, I had that happen to me also. Guess what, you have found the right place...

hey there, Im shyla and am in the DVT/PE community too. Although my experience is different to yours, we are all individuals with our own experiences, but I just wanted to bakck up what Dero said. You\'re in the right place, speak to as many people as you can and get lots of different oppinions on anything your concerned about . We\'re the real pros cos we\'ve been through it!! Feel free to msg me if you ever have any questions about treatment/recovery or just want to chat. I\'m in UK too, and yeah this time of year is dreadful weatherwise. I think I\'m suffering with that S.A.D!!
