I finally got a diagnosis this week of the pain that I have been having.  I have Fibromyalgia.  I have been in so much pain for such a long time, I thought that I was going crazy.  I am looking for people to talk about this aliment.  I need to find out all the information that I can.  I am seeing a wonderful therapist who is helping me tremendously.  She is really taking the time to help me.  She did however, suggest hospilization tonight to get me to take my medication if I can not take it in a month.  I don't want to go into the hospital and yet at the same time I need to take the medication so that I feel better. I would like to be a good mom for my daughters.  I ran around tonight picking up the kids, doing laundry because our dryer went out.  I actually got work done today at school.  My husband came home all pissy because our oldest is not home.  He was snapping at me because I didn't pick up the oldest at the same time from chuch that I got the youngest.  I am not superwoman.  I can't do everything.  I have to let some things slack.  My dad isn't doing very well.  His lower half is all swollen and he had taken a water pill. My husband just got home from work.  I am wondering who else is a teacher and has a family and has a stepdaughter that doesn't talk to her stepmother and is selfmulating herself and is very overwhelmed with school and who is in need of a maid.  Just a lot of stuff is going on.  I do feel good tonight though.  I wish I could talk to my therapist again this week.  She said that she is going to have me see her 2 times a week.  She is the best person in the world.  She deserves a medal for helping me.

You\'ve got a lot on your plate right now.....I\'m relieved that you have found a network of caring physicians to help you. The Fibro community here is very friendly and supportive. I have many friends from there here on DS. If I recall correctly with my mother and fibromyalgia......getting the proper rest is essential to keeping the pain levels tolerable. You need to educate family about YOUR needs, you can\'t be there to do everything for them if you are not able to care for yourself. Remember to nurture yourself first. Warm and gentle hugs for you!
