Quicky entry, as I'm on my lunch break. I had the CT scan this morning; I was a little nervous, and got stressed out with the iodine IV, worried that perhaps some hitherto-unknown allergy would pop up. Thankfully, no reaction. I just felt the characteristic warmth from head to toe, went through the scan, and cleared out of there. Since then I've been on slightly better footing. I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm not going to question why. I think part of it is that I'm feeling more of a focus on myself rather than getting so wrapped up in making work perfect. I've decided that putting so much pressure on myself is counter-productive. What else can I do? I'm tired of sacrificing my happiness and well-being for a job. It's just a job, like any other. Sure, there's some pressure with my girlfriend being out of work, but I'm not going to kill myself any more. Speaking of which, though, I really do need to get back to it. I'll try to update again tonight.

I\'m glad the test is over with and happy there was no reaction. I think you have the right attitude with the job. It\'s not worth sacrificing your health for your job!
