40 + weeks.....

Well, today I am 4 days past my due date.... Luckily I am feeling good! I have been having braxton hicks and some a bit stronger since last week, on and off.... I went to my OB on Friday, he has been trying to sweep my membranes the last 3 appts to no avail.... I am still not dialated past a 1 and not quite fully thinned out. So, the doc can't reach the "membranes" but he has fooled around down yonder and caused contractions, spotting etc each time... Doc says I am "perculating" and is happy about that! The doctor checked my fluid level and the size of the baby, everything is good. Also on Friday I lost my mucus plug (or part of it). So, if nothing by tomorrow- I have an appt at 1:45. Then my doc says he is going to be more "aggressive" whatever that means.........  He believes in only letting patients go to 41 weeks, due to the growing size of baby and loss of fluid past that point. 41 weeks will be on the 24th. So.......................  I am gettting very anxious and excited to meet this little one! I can't wait..... it would be a blessing if labor started on its own. I am thankful for this blessing and can't wait to meet my miracle!
