He'll be home in 40 days, I think...I don't trust anyone in the DOC so we'll see...
The parole officer called and she was a bitch. Then she never showed up to see the apartment the next day. I came home from work and waited for her, and she called at the time she was supposed to actually be here, to say she wasn't coming. No surprises there, but the conditions are not what he expected. He has to report every Thursday, and he can't leave the county without her permission, and he has a curfew, 8 pm. 8 pm!!! Yuck. I know it's still going to be like a miracle having him home, but no evening walks in the summer. I'm sad about that.
Things are okay. I'm a little confused with mixed feelings but trying to just stay calm.

I hope its only 40 days left to go. Hmmm I understand the reporting...that might drop down with time and the getting the permission to go somewhere is a bit odd but I really really dont get the 8 to 8 thing! Whats that about?
Yes some po do that and can be right dicks about things when they do come and see you be careful what you tell them they take note! You can do this yes it\'s a total head f#k but if you need to talk iam hear.
It always sounds like there\'s so much to remember. Try to make it as simple as you can - you know how to do that in your own life - and master the basics. You can always build from there. It won\'t ever be the way it was before, but it can still be good.
Hopefully the PO will not be the permanent one. They change often so as he goes along things will progress and change and get easier. God bless you
