4 Weeks and Counting.... Pinch Me

Had my 36 week appointment today. My belly is measuring 37 weeks, I am sure the scale, had I looked at it, would say 45 weeks!! I stopped looking, as I entered unchartered territory and am not going to look at the number on the scale until at least a month post baby. I have struggled with my weight my entire life and have let it make me feel unworthy, and I am not going to let a number get me down. Doctor hasn't said anything about my weight gain, and I figure she would if she had concerns. Anyways, I am dialated 1 cm and am 50% effaced, so we have progress! I totally understand I could stay here til contractions start, but for now I am hopeful and excited to be getting closer!! Oh, did I mention scared? My DH started talking names over Christmas and we have some narrowed down FINALLY!!! Grace Marie, Harper Grace, or Payton Ann for a girl. Boys names are Landon, Gavin, Hudson, or Greyson. No matter what boy name, middle name will be James. This is becoming VERY real. As happy as I am to be getting closer, I will admit I am sad this pregnancy is almost over. I have dreamed of this for so long, and looking back it hasn't been all roses for me, but man, God is so GOOD and it has been so amazing to have been blessed to carry this miracle! Adopting Hunter was surreal for me, and this is just so amazing as well! DH and I can't believe how blessed we truly are! So I am on the final leg of this race..... And I think I want to just slow down and coast to the finish line.....

I felt the same way about not wanting my pregnancy to end but also dying to meet my baby. What exciting times! Love all the name options and looking forward to hearing what you decide to go with! Oh and as far as weight gain i was freaked out to.i gained 35 and a couple weeks ago got back to My pre pre weight without even trying!it really does come off easily.i know that may not be the case for everyone tho. But I have not been working out and eat whateveri want.i am breastfeeding which is said to help as well. Now my body is still wider and less firm but I\'m OK worth that at least for now. Don\'t worry about it just focus on that beautiful baby!!

Exciting! I like Payton Ann and Harper for girls and Greyson for a boy. I can\'t wait to find out what you decide.
