4 day pass a success!

My son had a pass home last week and I have to say it gets a little better and easier each time we see him. He is doing so good, I thank God everyday for TC!
During his visit he opened up about his addiction history. It was quite an eye opener. I realize I was in denial when much of it was going on. I knew something wasn't right, but didn't want to admit the truth.
Its the little things that we noticed this time that we had always taken for granted- He made the bed every morning - what?! He helped us in the garden without us asking. He folded his laundry and he called to tell us he wouldn't be home for dinner one night! I know it sounds silly but he had been so lost in his addiction that he had become someone else, someone we didnt like.
We are so grateful to have our polite, well spoken and kind son back!
