4/4/12 4w6d doctor update
So, I left work early today at 12 so I could got sign a warrant but I have to make an appointment for that which I think is a little crazy. So I don't know when that will be... I have to wait till the private investigator calls me back.
So my doctor's nurse called me today and gave my results.... my beta went from a 67 to 397!!!! (doubling time: 37.4hrs :) and my progesterone is a 23 which is really good too (normal is b/t 20-25). I was excited about that, but I was explaining to the nurse for the 2nd time that I've been hurting in my left side by my ovary and I'm scared that it's an ectopic pregnancy. She told me to come in right away for an ultrasound. So I got there about 30 mins later and didn't wait but 5 minutes in the waiting room before they called me back. Of course I had to do a vaginal ultrasound cause I'm so early. The u/s tech did find a small cyst on my left ovary and she says that's from the clomid and should go away after the 1st trimester. And inside my uterus was a little black hole :D I asked her if that was the baby and she said no, that "could" be the gestational sack. She said that if it was a normal pregnancy that would be the sack, if I'm having an ectopic then it would just be a blood clot mimicking a gestational sack. So after that she sent my u/s pics over to my doctor and he sat down and talked to me. He says according to my betas and my progesterone, he doesn't believe I'm having an ectopic pregnancy. He says cause with a tubal pregnancy, the betas will not double normally like they should, they will rise slowly or go down instead of up :D so that's a big plus. He told me to keep taking my metformin the rest of my first trimester just in case and he said he had 2 options for me.... to come back in a week for another u/s so we can see how the pregnancy is going (if the sack has a yolk in it and stuff) or I could come back in about 10-13 days and see baby! Of course I told him I want to see the baby. So I got an u/s appt for April 17 @ 2:15pm :DDD Super excited! Will keep you guys updated!
