I don't really need to write an entry today but I'm bored so yeah lol. Its been unseasonably hot the last few days, but I think it is suppose to rain tonight and all day tomorrow so that should cool it down some.
I tried to mow my grandma's lawn for the first time this season but the mower kept quitting on me after I was about half done. So my dad is going to check it out Friday and if its nothing serious hopefully I can finish that off then. Weird because its a new mower from last year and I checked the oil and air filter, so not sure what the deal is...
I just heard my local grocery store is hiring so I'll probably put in an application there this week sometime. Little extra cash would be nice I suppose, once I pay off my car I'll be better off lol. Wouldn't be a "career" job but I don't plan on staying in NJ much longer so that's fine with me because I don't want to get tied down to NJ.
Wow that word career scares me...Anyone that knows me knows I don't believe in careers, all they do is corrupt people. People back stab, have affairs, people conform to a corporate image, give up their beliefs and morals, etc, just for more money...I still at 27 can't see myself working in a cubicle for the next 20 some years and hoping to afford retirement at the end and in good health, and with my morals. That's asking alot...Well I won't get on my careers rant, that would be a whole other entry lol.
I think McCandless was right, maybe not to the extent he went, but just travel and enjoy life while your young and can get around. Otherwise you find a career job and that's it, yeah there's vacation time, but only a few weeks a year. Life is too short, seriously, in our minds we think we will live forever, I mean its hard to comprehend not existing right? So we think oh I have time to do this and that, no we don't actually.
So that being said, I'll end this entry. But remember, time will not stop. We are remembered for what we do and what we say in life. Not how much money we make or what things we bought. I'm starting to understand this now, I was taught, or brainwashed...in high school to go to college, which I did...Get a good paying job and make lots of money. That's the point of life lol. Yeah well fuck all those teachers and counselors, except the good ones, which I did have a few cool teachers.
But my point is, say what's on your mind, keep your beliefs, don't change for anyone, and do something you love. Later.
