4/24/12 7w5d preggers!
Well I haven't been on here in a few days cause nothing much is really happening. My symptoms are not as strong as before in week 6 but they are still there. I still have nausea sometimes and indigestion, hunger and thirst and frequent urination and fatigue. The pain in my upper abdomen has went away. I went to the Dr. last Wednesday and he prescribed me some phenegran and it went away and hasn't been back since! Could had been some really bad gas though. I'm excited to be almost 8 weeks but I'm also scared as well. I hope my next u/s shows a healthy baby as well with a very strong heartbeat. The heartbeat was normal last time but I hope it is a little faster when I go back to show progress!
Also, my and BF went to Memphis to talk to a lawyer yesterday about seeing if we can get his citizenship here so he doesn't get deported. I sat down and told the whole situation about the DUI and that it's his first and only offense since he's been here in 2005. The lawyer says it's a long process and will take about 2-3 years and will cost about $5-6k, but it will be totally worth it considering we have VERY good chances of getting his greencard. He says alot of ppl would wish to be in our situation. He says we have no idea how many people come to him with the same issue, facing deportation, and he has to tell them there is nothing that can be done. But first thing is first, we have to get hitched and SOON! His first immigration court is Dec 19, but hopefully the lawyer can move it out another year. I hope so cause the baby is coming in Dec. He says that cause we are getting married after the fact, they will consider the marriage to be fraud and we will have to prove it's a true marriage. I can easily prove that being that we are pregnant, and also cause we have been living together for at least 2 years and I have mail from that far back to his address. Then we have to go thru 2 other processes. I don't remember the 2nd one but the last one... and hopefully the law will change. I have to prove that I'm suffering an extreme hardship without him in the country... financial, emotional, etc. And usually he will have to go out of the country about a year and go to court in Mexico but if we are able to get my "extreme hardship" approved before he has to leave then he will only be gone a month to Mexico and will come back legal with his green card and all! Even if he has to be out a year, it's better than spending a lifetime without him and I can always buy a plane ticket and go over there and visit him. Now the only thing we need to do know is get married first, then go back to Memphis and sign the contract with the lawyer. :D So I'm excited and he is too that we don't have to lose each other and we can watch our kid grow together!
