3rd shot and 2 week check up done....
Well friday was shot #3. I also had my 2eek check up. I addressed all the issues that I had spoken of and finally got some relief. She looked at the rash and told me that it ussually rares its ugly head further along in treatment. It is not an allergic reaction, thank god, and I can continue treatment. I was perscribed Vistaril to help with the rash (itching) and sleep. I was also perscribed Aciphex for the heartburn and acid reflux. I can already tell a huge difference. I have been sleeping most of the weekend, without interuption, and finally feel somewhat rested. They took some more blood to check my blood and platelet counts. I will hear what the results are monday.Everything is moving along well. Order my new set of meds wednesday. Dr told me in a month they will check VL again. I just know its going to be undetectable.

You are doing great! Get a copy of all your labs, so you can compare them as you progress through tx.
Good luck!!!!
I\'\'m happy to hear that you have address those issues that were bothering you.
The riba rash appears earlier on those who already have skin issues, so maybe you have some kind of skin disorder, like psoriasis, or tend to have adult acne?
that would explain why you are already experiencing the riba rash.
I am glad they figured out how to help with your sides. Best of luck on your lab results.
