I had my shot of Avonex today as they were closed yesterday for Memorial Day. I have started on the top to tighs to give my arms a break. I am not too happy now as the first injection into left thigh resulted in bruising and a knot. I am concern that they do blood tests to make sure my liver function are okay. I had to remove the bandaid as soon as possible. However, unlike my arms, it bleeds. I removed it when I got home and a rash from the bandaid was already there.  I am extremely tired/exhausted. I just woke up from sleeping hours. The rash is gone but the bruise and knot still there. I hoping I don't get another rash a couple days from now. I bruise easily and they take quite awhile before they go away. I still have some faded that are years old. I never had a bruise before from getting a shot... drawing blood.. yes.  I also wonder if my thyroid is function right. The inability to lose weight and where I am gained weight along with being even more fatigue, makes me think I need my thyroid blood work done.  If it isn't that then I getting more symptomic that could be from both ME/CFS and MS.  I tried to go to the store and ride in the scooter. I am seeing double, about to faint, dizzy and praying I don't run over people. I wasn't in there long but it was hard for me to do this.  I have been feeling this way for weeks.  My son and grandson is moved out and I should be feeling better as the stress as lifted. However, I don't. My allegries could be playing a role in this. This year is the worst it has been.  I am on non-prescription right now until I came see my GP.  I guess I have to wait on my blood work to see what it shows. I will have the nurse try to ice the area next time to see if it will not bruise but Biogen says it won't stop the knots. Feeling bad now... not side effects too early.. just weak, hurting, numbness.. just not feeling right.
