Yesterday I went to an opthalmologist.  It was recommended that I go to an opthalmologist instead of an optometrist since in Sept. my brother had a retinal detachment (they tend to be genetic), I have been nearsighted for a while, and I have seen spots before my eyes for a while.  The Opthalmologist was nice enough and so was his assistant but wow I was in there for two hours but at least they didn't use the puff of air test for glaucoma.  They had a different machine.  Anyway, all he said he saw were a few floaters nothing he was concerned about and a freckle in the left.  He wasn't too concerned about that either.  He said if I  have a drastic change in vision where I see lots of bright lights or it looks like I am looking through a screen to call him day or night and he will look at me immediately.  So that's about all for now.LaterCheryl
