Friday in the afternoon I had an echocardiogram of the heart, aorta, neck, legs. The internist I see who specializes in weight loss recommended it to be safe since I started taking a new med. for weight loss. He asked me as long as they are doing an echo would it be okay to include the carotoid and legs as well. I said yes. The person who did it asked me at least twice if I had high blood pressure before finally talking my blood pressure which was on the low side as is normal with me. Later she asked me if I ever had this test done before and if everything came out okay. I thought that was a little weird, but maybe that's just me.
