I woke up this morning and for the first time since Bill has passed he wasn't the first thing I thought about. It was so fucking cold in the house, I like a dummy forgot to turn the heater on when I went to bed. Then I felt a little guilty because I wasn't thinking about him. I totally forgot that it was Christmas eve and I have so much running around to do. Thank God the shopping is done, just need to pick up out pre-made Christmas dinner. All the kids will be here tonight so I will have plenty of company. We always do Christmas here at my house.

As I read through your journal entries and feel your loss, it\'s good to read that you have family and friends around you at this sad time. I wish you strength throughout in however long that it takes for you to heal. This is a huge loss. I can\'t imagine having to go through something so tragic all by yourself. You are in a good place here on DS. You will never be alone, we are all here to hold each other up. I wish you comfort and peace. Big Hug

I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray that God will lift you up and bless you abundantly. Your mother in law is blessed to have you there to help her. My mother in law has been a great blessing to me since my mom passed away and then when my son died. The Psalms were the biggest help to me and a great comfort as well. Your dad was right when he said that God wouldn\'t put on us more than we could handle. Everyday I get up I let God know that I don\'t understand why my son had to die and I don\'t like it, but that I still trust him and will continue to draw nigh to him. I pray that you have a blessed Christmas full of joy and peace with family. I love you
