Can you say FRUSTRATED? I just don't get this. The DA's office called today to say the DA herself had questions about something. I wonder why in the hell she didn't ask these questions way back when? Why now? Why is it that she keeps coming up with something new to ask about or to order this interview or that thing? We are going on 5 months now. Five whole long months of shit. What else will she come up with that will take another two weeks for me to get with that detective so he asks the right questions and then I answer and then he must call her back and tell her and then she has to decide this or that and that or this. How hard can this possibly be? She has all the evidence, all the interviews. What else is there? For crying out loud what else is there? Is there anybody at the DA's office that has half a fucking brain who can competently do the job? Is there anybody who knows how to use a fucking telephone and call the right person at the right time and get this stuff done or are they so over loaded that one person is nothing just like the next person? What? How can this go on? It's no wonder why we have all these killers, rapists, pedophiles, criminals out there doing all this shit in our world? There's no competence at the DA's office to do anything. I'm thinking I should seriously get a law degree or apply for a job there because they need someone with determination, compassion and COMPETENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really, I'm asking, does anybody have a clue as to why this is taking so long? Honestly?

They have to get all their little duckies in a row to make sure everything is perfect. And it sux, but that takes a lot of time. But, trust in God that He WILL serve justice, He says that all is in His hands...
Wow. that sounds tough. I\"m sorry, it must be very frustrating for you to have to wait that long. If i was you, I would consider getting a law degree. I think you would be great at it, no doubt in my mind. We need more ppl like you who can protect the kids, and come up for them. I will hire you, so let me know when you start a job :)

I\'m reading a book right now by Jodi Picoult named \"Perfect Match\" the central character is a DA who prosecutes sexual abuse cases..and then her own child is molested...Picoult (IMO) is just an exceptional writer (I\'ve read other books by her)....you might want to check the book out though...I think you might find it very cathartic...from both sides of this equation...(or at least based on the 1/3 of the book that I\'ve read so far). She\'s very good at expressing the thoughts and emotions of a mother who\'s child has been abused and also those of a prosecutor who wants to do the right thing but is hamstrung by the system. The system sucks and is certainly not \"pro child\". I\'m sorry you\'re having to go through this...hugs
I\'m sorry this is so frustrating. I wish I had a mother who cared as much as you. My mother doesnt even believe me... So my case has been going on for 16 months. The DA office really needs to get their butts going like you said. Here\'s a question for you. What can we do to try and speed it up cause like you said, it is torture!!!! I\'m stuck on ideas... I\'m praying for you! Keep going.
