I honestly don't know what I'd do without you all.  The "interview" with my daughter was done finally.  Only took over a month to get.  The new detective told me he would deliver it the next day to the DA so we could get going.  I called a week later and found out he never took it to the DA's office.  AUGH.  Can you say CRAZY?  These policemen are making me crazy.  i feel like they won't, wouldn't or couldn't do anything unless I'm calling and on top of all this shit.  Then I followed up with the DA and him again to make sure he did it.  Now I'm just waiting.  I will call the Special investigator at the DA's office tomorrow hopefully to get my sick husband's arraignment date.  Geez and to think we're only going on 5 months now?  5  months of hell for us and a nice cushy life for my husband.  Five whole fucking months.  Can you beleive that shit.  I can't write either.  I just can't open that book and look inside.  My life is going comfortably now and I'm actually leaving the house to do other things than just the grocery store and work and church.  I'm actually going to dinner and shopping.  And that's only taken 4 of those 5 months.  Meanwhile the devil and his evil wicked family are having their freedom and pleasant life.  I'm still trying to hold us together and keep going and rebuild.  Will I ever get through this and be sane enough to start dealing with my own shit?  I'm nuts.  I think maybe I'm a little insane.  I was starting to meet men and call myself Jane.  I think that was weird so I stopped because I wondered if that's how multiple personalities started.  I think I've gotten a little crazy though.

It takes awhile. Keep on top of them or they will let it slide and not do anything. I know that from experience. I\'m praying for you!

Well, it\'s easy to feel like you going crazy when you know someone is in the wrong & getting away with it. It is a VERY frustrating feeling & takes alot out of you emotionally. it is also VERY difficult to let it go. I am glad that you are getting out now though - that shows that you are making progress.

Yep, I agree with Jannis, you are a strong person and he will get his day in court. Hopefully it will be soon. I worked in the criminal end of the court system and it takes so long just to get a court date. Hang in there.

My ex-husband is currently serving a 15 year sentence for molesting, sodomizing and attempting to rape our then 12 y.o. neighbor girl. Thank God he was too drunk to penetrate her with his penis, but I wish she would\'ve bitten it off when he sodomized her. Sorry; I know that\'s graphic, but that\'s reality. My ex was prosecuted in the same district by the same DA that handled the Michael Devlin, Sean Hornbeck case. Every time I saw that DA on TV talking about that case, it brought up bad memories of what our family went through. My ex was facing 5 years to life for 2 counts of molestation, 1 count stat. sodomy & 1 count stat. rape. He plea bargained with the state after dragging the trial out for TWO YEARS!!! He went through 2 attornies and $45,000 trying to get his neck out of the noose he created for himself. It was 2 very long years, and it is a very long story that involves my own daughter, too, and has led to my son\'s heroin addiction. If you\'d ever like to chat with someone who understands a little of what you\'re going through concerning the whole trial BS, message me. I\'ve also thought about writing a book. The pebble is more like a brick that they threw and the ripples are like tidal waves. Moving through the system is a slow and tedious process. I hope yours goes faster than ours did. On a lighter note, my ex-husband, who had never done anything more serious than commit a left-hand turn violation, has now been in prison for over 5 years & will most likely serve another 3.5 - 7 years.
