So today I'm not so good. I found out that my daughter has to go through another interview only this time more in debth. My heart aches for her because I know she wants this to be over more than I do, but these stupid District Attorneys who can't pull their head out of their asses and get it all straight are really pissing me off. Now this will take God only knows how long and I'm now thinking maybe we'll be done by Summer. Maybe that's even pushing it. God I'm angry, I can't believe how fuc*&%&^ angry I am. God. Even as I type I'm slamming my keyboard and taking it out on the stupid computer. This interview should have been done three months ago. My daughter is going to start her trek of nightmares again and God only knows and suddenly the room is starting to spin so I think I had better calm down. Whoa. That was a little crazy. I know we need to do this, I just want them to hurry the hell up and get this all done so we can start to heal a little better. It weighs us down to know that tough stuff is still pending with it all. Ugh! Am I doing the right thing. Am I doing the right thing? Am I? will she be okay, God will she be okay? Am I doing the right thing by her? Will this hurt her worse than the abuse or what?

What does you daughter therapist think about this? This such a difficult stiuation for you and your daughter..The only thing I can think of would be to ask her therapist if she can handle this...I feel for you motherduck..and sending you and your daughter good energy...
You ARE doing the right thing and you have a right to be pissed! It is wrong. But it\'s what \"is\" fair or not...making yourself crazy over it doesn\'t do anything but...well, make you crazy. Having this whole thng \"pending\" is difficult...but best you can...distract yourself and help your daughter do the same...as hard as it is try your best not to ruminate on it...distract, distract, distract..LOL But get clear....your absolutely doing the right thing because at some point...YOU and SHE will get resolution and closure. The \"delay\" if not from the DA would come from the defense attorney....it\'s a tactic to get you to just give up from the stress of it all. Stay tough! It is the right thing....me things :-)
I\'m sorry to hear all the pain you and your daughter are going through. Hopefully, when this is all said and done, you will feel accomplished. But until then, remain strong, and keep your head up.
P.S. I take it out on the computer sometimes too = ) At least it can\'t fight back!
I\'m not an expert, but you are doing the right thing. This seems bad now, but it\'s actually part of the healing process. the more she has to tell her story, the less the nightmares will happen. it seems hard now, but look at it this way - 6-8 mos total out of you & your daughters entire lifetime is worth the peace of mind & self worth she will have the rest of her life. My abuse wasn\'t reported &/or dealt with & here it is 10 years later & still haunting me. Though, this past year, i finally faced it 100% & already i am doing SO much better. I am not afraid of my dad anymore & at age 28, finally able to stand up for myself more than i\'ve ever been able to do! Be prepared though, she will always have flashbacks from time to time & feel bad sometimes, but she\'ll be MUCH better off b/c of what you are doing for her & for your support. I\'m not sure if you really understand how rare it is what you are doing? So many mothers don\'t believe their children or stay with the abuser, or simply believe them, but choose not to do anything about it due to fear or not facing their own hurt from it. If your daughter ever wants to talk to someone who\'s been through a similar thing, have her give me a call.
I know this is a very difficult thing to go through, but I just wanted you to know I am here to talk to you. I\'m sorry she had to go through that and I am sorry you have to go through it as well.
