I've called the investigator and he says that the DA may be leaning towards pressing charges.  Finally!  She put in a call to the local police officer who initially interviewd my daughter and then my soon to be x husband and is waiting for him to call back.  After he answers whatever questions she has, we will be in court.  Sigh.  It's all so crazy.  I'm glad it's finally progressing.  The last three months have been insane.  My daughters therapist says that she is getting stronger and sadly that there is not even the slightest "shred" that this is false.  She said she doesn't have a shred of doubt.  I said, "I know", but then I almost threw up.  I know what he did, I am past denial.  I don't know why I wanted to vomit all night long.  At least now, we're moving in the right direction.  I hate him.

Motherduck -
It\'s nice to see how strong you are. In my own situation, I don\'t even think my mother knows about what my father did to me. I was only 7, and was considered \"a confused child\". In fact, in the divorce papers, there isn\'t any indication of sexual abuse...it\'s really upsetting, but I\'m happy to see that your supporting your daughter.
Thanks again for the hug. I will hopefully gain as much support as you have. Take care.
