I've been missing my daughter tonight. She was so good at giving advice and listening to me. The first time I saw my daughter, she was sleeping. I went to a bookstore and bought her a children's book titled "Sleepy People". She still had it when she died. I am so blessed to have my granddaughter. I created a birth announcement for her on my computer, which I've since converted to Flash. Hard to believe I did this almost 20 years ago. You can see it here. It has sound. http://www.johnbaxter.com/birth.html

I wish I could tell you that it gets easier...but sometimes it\'s not. We do however learn to cope better as time goes. One day at a time. Hugs.
yes, we do learn to live around the pain, John. I am so glad you have your beautiful granddaughter - a true blessing. love to you...Cathrynn XX
Awe, that was so cute. I bet she loved it and still does. Now how many people can say they have a birth announcement online? LOL, very sweet.
I\'m sorry that you miss your daughter so much. I am all ears if you need to talk.

My mother was telling me only today how she will never forget the look on my father\'s face when I was born. He was just so happy. How blessed that makes me feel. I heard the expression \"heartsick\" on someone\'s post, and that\'s exactly how it feels. I am sorry you are feeling like that at the moment. I will go and have a look at the birth announcement when I leave this site. Take care John and thank you to for your reply on my journal entry - family pack mule! LOL!
John, just a note. Your journal posts always move me to comment, and mostly I just want you to know I read them, and I care, and I so wish I could help. Hugs, hugs, hugs, your daughter is hugging you in your heart John and she still listens.
